And once again, I am behind on my updates. There are several artworks that need mentioning, but for now would like to talk about a series of small works I have finished this week.

About the time of the start of this blog, I was making a group of works that I liked to call “Pocket Spirits.” This latest group follows in that same tradition, and are called Lock Spirits.  Appropriately enough, their base is made from a lock mechanism. There are two spirits on each piece, and they are made from old typewriter parts. Everything is mounted to a piece a plywood, which can be hung on a wall. They are all approximately 2 x 4 inches.

Below are the current pieces. I don’t anticipate too many more in this series, as I only have one or two lock mechanism like this left. They are currently for sale in my Etsy Store.
