The Elephant Walk
The Elephant Walk

Giraffes, gorillas, and now elephants…its a veritable found object safari around here (though the penguin may not appreciate the heat).

Once again, base of this piece is a venetian blind box, with a couple of other venetian blind accessories on top. A plastic elephant emerges from its metallic temple, which is adorned by bits of jewelry. The apparatus with the sun on it came from a garage sale of medical equipment, perhaps an oxygen dispenser? The red piece at the bottom came from a computer part.

I have another assemblage finished, and will put that up tomorrow, because I don’t have a name for it right now.

Elephant Walk is sold. Feel free to see my other pieces available at
